art of expression - for frameless digital gallery
As part of a campaign to open up the arts to more young people, George collaborated with FRAMELESS, writing a poem in response to an 1880 Victorian view of London by John Atkinson Grimshaw - reimagining the past through spoken word of today.
George also mentored seven emerging voices from the Mayor of London’s Violence Reduction Unit. Each created their own poetic response to works in the FRAMELESS Galleries, connecting timeless art to the very real challenges young people face currently.
As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting young people, the VRU has partnered with FRAMELESS to show how the arts can offer a vital space for self-expression and emotional connection.
